Green papaya salad in Aiwa kitchen.
-8 oz. pork leg meat.
-8 oz. shrimp.
-1 1/2 lbs. green papaya.
-Vietnamese coriander (rau ram) herb.
Peel off the papaya skin completely.
Shred the papaya.
Soak the shredded papaya in a big container with 2 tsp. white vinegar for a few minutes this will remove the papaya sap and bitterness.
Drain the papaya and squeeze gently let remove the excess water.
Make fish sauce ( lime, chili, sugar, garlic).
-1 cup water. -1/4 cup sugar.
-3 tsp fish sauce.
Pour water and sugar in a bowl and stir until the sugar is dissolved then add:
-3 tsp. fish sauce.
Combine all the ingredients and toss well, top with roasted peanuts(chopped). Now the green papaya salad is serves.
